And his impact on the current crop of Scottish fighters remains as he forged a close relationship with current world champion Josh Taylor. The Tartan Tornado paid tribute, saying: "I’m saddened to hear the news of the passing of my hero and Scotland's greatest ever champ, whom I take such inspiration from. RIP Ken Buchanan."
