Perthshire villagers in the shadow of the £300m Taymouth Castle development have expressed concerns over housing availability.
However, Kenmore and District Community Council, who support the development, are calling for “a more sustainable housing balance” between residential and holiday accommodation. He said: “A total of 156 short-term let licences alone have been recently granted in our area, well outnumbering the number of residences which total just around 130. In addition we have very many holiday homes in the area.
“This situation is expected to be greatly exacerbated by the expansion of the Crannog centre and the opening of Taymouth Castle estate.
