The Gers will go to Paisley rather than Rugby Park or Dens for a third time to ensure 19 home and away games.

Kenny Miller reckons St Mirren was the ONLY post split fixture flip for Rangers that kept the title race fair.

With the Ibrox club needing another three away games to ensure an even split with home fixtures, they were always going to have to make a third trip to either Killie, the Buddies or Dens. Given they're only managing to get their second trip to Tayside played at the third attempt, that was never likely to be an option. Both sides of the Old Firm have already lost at Rugby Park this season, so altering either's venue to face Killie would have been controversial.

He replied: "It's straightforward isn't it? You've got to play 19 games at home and 19 games away. With Dundee, Kilmarnock and St Mirren, Rangers have played them all away twice already. But that means they've had 17 games at home and 16 away so that needs to be levelled up.
