EXCLUSIVE: Kerry Katona says she was hit with accusations of 'being drunk or on drugs' after viewers claimed she was slurring in a TikTok video, six years after her infamous appearance on This Morning
Six years after Kerry Katona hit the headlines following a famously awkward interview with Phillip Schofield and Fern Britton on This Morning, she has been accused of being 'drunk or on drugs'.
Last week the mum of four found herself at the centre of similar talk after she appeared to be slurring her speech while filming a live video on TikTok.But in an exclusive chat with OK!, she furiously hit back at the comments and explained the reasons why she may have sounded different to her normal self.
"I’m still recovering from my nose surgery – it can take up to 12 months to heal – so my speech is a little impaired. I was really tired that day too, and I can just be a lazy talker sometimes – it’s like I’ve got a lazy tongue! I was not drunk – it was first thing in the morning and I was on a treadmill!"
After the surgery earlier this year, she said the results meant she was finally closing that chapter of her life. " “I'm glad I've had it done. It's like a reward and closing the door on that chapter of my life," she told us.
