Kerry Katona says she doesn't want what happened to Jade Goody's children to happen to her youngest
Kerry Katona opened up about her terrifying cancer scare and fears she might die. The former Atomic Kitten singer has been suffering from excruciating symptoms for months including losing large, dark clumps of blood from her vagina and having painful bleeding after sex. But when she recently experienced three periods within a month, despite her fears of finding out the truth, she forced herself to get tested for cancer. She told OK!: 'The pain became unbearable.
So many things were going through my head, like it being cervical cancer or womb cancer. 'It made me think of Jade Goody and how her kids were left without a mum. I've been open with my kids about what I'm going through. It was an awful conversation to have but it was important for me that they understood what could happen.' Just days after flying back from what she'd hoped would be a relaxing holiday, Kerry went for a follow-up scan and, thankfully, it was good news.
