The news that former Everton striker Kevin Campbell is in hospital has continued to prompt heartfelt messages of support
Messages of support have continued to pour in for Kevin Campbell as the former Everton star battles serious illness.
Arsenal, another of the clubs Campbell played for, and Stoke City, where his son Tyrese plays, have now joined Everton in releasing their own statement. Campbell scored 51 goals in 164 appearances for Everton, starting with the legendary spree that saw the club survive the drop following his arrival on loan from Turkish side Trabzonspor.
Brian McBride, who was also at Everton with Campbell, added: “Thinking of and praying for Kevin Campbell! From the first day I arrived Everton, he welcomed me with open arms and supported. While providing guidance for a newbie to the Prem. Keep fighting Kev and know you are supported by so many.”
