Yes, that’s right, everyone’s favourite vegetable is returning once again – Kevin the Carrot.
In a move worthy of a true festive figure, the supermarket has released a football-themed teaser ad, called Feast of Football, ahead of the full-length advert dropping.’s iconic tune A Little Less Conversation, Kevin and his family are caught up in a kickabout in an airport waiting loungr.upcoming World Cup in Qatar
as well as parodying Nike’s famous 1998 World Cup ad, which saw the Brazilian play football through the airport. This time though, the players include Ronaldi the lemon, Messi the blueberry Macarooney the macaron, and Marrowdonna – to name just a few among the excellent puns.He’s accompanied by Ronaldi the lemon, naturally ‘A football tournament in December? That’s going to get right in the way of Christmas!’ a disapproving Kevin declares at the start of the clip, reacting to a headline in the paper before he screws it up in a ball and tosses it over his shoulder.
‘Based upon this, it will be the best Christmas ad without a doubt,’ gushed one fan, while another added: ‘Aldi well done, this might have to be my favourite Kevin the carrot advert of all time!
