The base is made from a round slab of chicken that's been deep fried in the Colonel's Original Recipe.Each slice is small and contains just one slice of pepperoniThe dish clocks in at 550 calories, but it's cut into four slices just like a dough-based pizza, so there's no need to eat it all in one sitting.
We're yet to try the bizarre menu item but the fast food blogger behind BurgerLad, Simon Dukes, 40, from Cheltenham, has already managed to get his chops around them. While the foodie gives KFC a "gold star" for thinking outside the box, he doesn't reckon it will knock the Zinger burger off the top spot.
Overall, he feels it's the type of dish you might order a couple of times but it's not likely to become your regular.
