Glasgow City Council confirmed plans to introduce a fee to enter Kibble Palace in the Botanic Gardens in a bid to raise the £185,000 required as part of the budget for the upcoming year.
Plans by Glasgow City Council to introduce entry charges to Kibble Palace still do not have a confirmed date.
Despite the budget expected to be implemented next month, no date for the introduction of the charges has yet been set. It is understood the charges will be £3 for adults or £1.50 for concessions, but this has also not yet been confirmed. A spokesman for the council said: “We are working towards implementing the measure to introduce an entry charge for the Kibble Palace, as agreed as part of the council’s budget for 2023/24. A date for the introduction of an entry charge has still to be confirmed.
