One of Nottinghamshire's most popular new attractions this summer is a mini Land Rover track in the woodland of a country park. Children aged three to eight can steer pint-sized Defender vehicles through the trees, uphill and down, and over a mini bridge.
The cars were introduced in response to feedback from families who asked for more activities for younger children at the park, which has a Sky Trail, mini golf and archery. There's also the regatta lake at the National Watersports Centre offering paddle boarding, kayaking, a wipeout assault course and white-water rafting.

So far it has been really popular as there is nothing like it in the local area. As well as the cars, there's a free to use adventure play park with a Titan Swing, a treetop adventure with slides and tunnels, a rope ladder, climbing wall and zipline as part of a £120,000 investment.
