The Arsenal man has retuned to his club for treatment on his hamstring injury. Tierney went off during the 1-1 Group A draw against Switzerland and will play no further part in the tournament. Scotland face Hungary in their final match in Stuttgart on Sunday and if they win will qualify for the knockout stage for the first time in the country’s history. And Steve Clarke ’s right hand man John Carver confirmed at the pre-match press conference that Tierney has left the camp for treatment.
"We went to the game against Switzerland the other night and everyone was itching after the Germany performance so there's a chance for someone to stake a claim for it."
