Liverpool will face Newcastle United in the Premier League next weekend
Kieran Trippier has named Anfield as the Premier League stadium with the best atmosphere, aside from St James' Park.
Liverpool is widely recognised as one of the toughest places to play in world football, with the Reds' famous Champions League comeback versus Barcelona in 2019 laying bare how sides can crumble under the pressure of performing at Anfield. On board with the idea Anfield is a special stadium, having experienced the difficulty of achieving a result there, Trippier was asked which fanbase are the most vocal apart from Newcastle and told Sky Sports: "It's got to be Anfield. I've played many games there, many big games, and their fans are really good. Every time I've been there, it has always been a hostile place but the one I really enjoy.
