Killer Mexican rollercoaster that killed two operated in Yorkshire for five years where a worker was hit by speeding carriage - shocking
The second 18-year-old victim is yet to be named but both died of horrific head injuries after the last car on the coaster derailed at the La Feria amusement park in Mexico City.
The ride operated until 2005 and was on sale for two years before it was moved to Mexico and later renamed. The Drier Looping spent 12 years on the German fair circuit before spending two years at the Subway Lagoon, in Malaysia and then being moved to the UK.Other rides designed by Schwarzkopf are still operating in the UK, such as the Cannonball Express at Pleasurewood Hills park, in Suffolk, and the Raptor Attack at Lightwater Valley, in North Yorkshire.
A theme park worker told local news outlet El Universal how she saw passengers being thrown from the car.
