Killie boss Derek McInnes believes Bobby Wales' late strike against Tromso will be his first of many in the blue and white stripes.
But the home side were unable to build on that fast start with the Norwegians taking advantage of defensive frailties from Killie, which have already been evident this term. A poor clearance from Robby McCrorie eventually led to Jakub Romsaas poking home on 50 minutes before Lasse Nordas sent Tromso in front after a quick counter-attack when he was played in expertly by skipper Ruben Yttegard Jenssen.
"Bobby was actually coming in to my thinking for the game, because where we wanted to play was not a traditional centre forward, alongside Vass, because of how expansive they are.
