A new Kinds of Kindness trailer for Yorgos Lanthimos' latest movie following Poor Things has been released by Searchlight Pictures.
“Kinds of Kindness is a triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader,” says the synopsis.
Kinds of Kindness stars Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schafer. It was written by Lanthimos and Efthimis Filippou.Stone and Lanthimos most recently worked together on 2023’s Poor Things, which also starred Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe, Ramy Youssef, Christopher Abbot, Suzy Bemba, Jerrod Carmichael, Kathryn Hunter, Vicki Pepperdine, Margaret Qualley, and Hanna Schygulla.
Even outside of Poor Things and Kinds of Kindness, Stone, and Lanthimos previously worked together on the 2018 film The Favourite and the 2022 short film Bleat. Apparently, as was reported towards the end of February, the duo could be reuniting again for the upcoming remake of 2003’sSpencer Legacy is ComingSoon and SuperHeroHype's Senior Editor.
