Buckingham Palace has released this year's Christmas card for King Charles and Queen Camilla, marking their third official Christmas card since Charles became monarch
King Charles and Queen Camilla have revealed their official 2024 Christmas card. To mark the festivities, the pair have chosen a photograph of themselves which was taken in the garden of Buckingham Palace back in April - and it’s a lot different from last year’s image.
Alongside the personal photograph, the pair released an accompanying festive message. “Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year,” it read. Back in 2023 the pair selected a photograph which showed them in the Throne Room at the Palace following the Coronation. In the picture, Charles wore the Imperial State Crown as well as a coronation tunic and the robe of estate. Meanwhile, Camilla was wearing Queen Mary’s Crown.
After the monarch revealed that he had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer at the beginning of the year, in April it was announced that he would be making a return to public engagements.
