This comes before the big Royal Christmas dinner
King Charles looked in high spirits as he left Windsor Castle on Wednesday following his first festive lunch with the extended Royal Family as the ruling monarch.
Charles, 74, was snapped leaving the residence today as he dressed in a grey suit and white check shirt, which he paired with a patterned tie and brown coat. “Their Majesties The King and The Queen Consort accompanied by Members of the Royal Family will attend the Morning Service on Christmas Day at Sandringham Church, on Sunday 25th December 2022,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement.
Speaking exclusively to OK!, she said: "While I imagine there will be a gathering at Sandringham, whether it will be quite as extended as it used to be with the Queen, and with quite as many people, I’m not sure. "She leaves a massive hole in their lives and that empty seat, once occupied by the Queen, will now presumably be occupied by King Charles."
