Kate, the Princess of Wales, and her family will not be at the Windsor Castle service
The King will be attending the Easter Sunday church service in his most significant public appearance since he was diagnosed with cancer. King Charles, aged 75, will join the Queen Camilla and other Royal family members for the annual Easter Mattins Service at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle today .
Kate, the Prince of Wales William, and their children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, who all attended last year, will not be at the service this Sunday. They are spending the Easter holidays together as they come to terms with Kate's diagnosis, which was found during post-operative tests following major abdominal surgery.The King's attendance at church will be seen as a move to reassure the public after the shock news about his daughter-in-law.
