King Charles is set to lead the Easter Sunday service in what will be his first public appearance since his cancer diagnosis.
King Charles and Queen Camilla are set to sit separately from the rest of the Royal Family during this year's Easter service.
Kate, Princess of Wales, who was also recently diagnosed with cancer, will not be at the service. A source told the Telegraph that the King and Queen will sit away from other Royal Family members to reduce risks to his health and he will also not host lunch afterwards, which is usually the tradition.
On Friday, Newsweek Chief Royal Correspondent Jack Royston joined Kate Garraway and Rob Rinder on Good Morning Britain. They discussed the upcoming appearance of Charles and Queen Camilla at the Easter Sunday service. "Now, last year, Kate was obviously at the Easter service and they all wore blue interpreted as a show of unity, it was a moment when they all came together this year. This year, the King and Camilla will be there but the Waleses will not be there with. I think for Charles, he is obviously very eager to get back to work, clearly, he's been working all week."
