King Charles' annual birthday parade, Trooping the Colour, will take place on June 15 but it appears the York sisters have been cut from one major part of the ceremony.

Princess Beatrice and Eugenie have been snubbed by the King as they will miss out on a spot at the Buckingham Palace balcony during this year's Trooping the Colour.

Following his doctor's advice after his diagnosis, he will inspect the troops from a carriage alongside Queen Camilla, the Mirror reports. Consequently, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie will not secure a spot on the palace balcony, amidst commentary from royal experts suggesting that Prince Andrew's daughters are being kept "at arm's length" due to a "pivot towards" Prince Harry amid ongoing family tensions.

This comes after we previously reported that the palace had concerns that the York sisters were moving over to the "dark side" due to their close relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. "For William it's a question of loyalty as Beatrice and Eugenie have got closer to Harry so William has decided to keep them very much at arm's length.

He said: "There is serious concern at Kensington Palace that Prince Andrew's daughters Beatrice and Eugenie are becoming increasingly close to Harry and Meghan. Beatrice and Eugenie are moving across to what one Kensington Palace official described as 'the dark side'."
