The upcoming home release of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes will feature a 'raw cut' of the movie, showing a side-by-side comparison.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ raw cut, titled “Inside the Lens: The Raw Cut” on the upcoming home release, will be a full-length alternative to the movie, complete with a split-screen comparison between both versions.On one end, the full movie will play, while the other will see unfinished VFX versions to show off how the actors moved around as apes.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is written by Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa, and Amanda Silver, the latter of whom was also a writer for Rise of the Planet of the Apes. The film is produced by Patrick Aison, Joe Hartwick Jr., Jaffa, Silver, and Jason Reed.stars William H. Macy, Owen Teague, Freya Allen, Dichen Lachman, and Peter Macon, among others. It is set “many years” following the events of 2017’s War for the Planet of the Apes.
