Kington's First Ever Christmas decorated and illuminated tractor run will take place on Saturday, December 14.
This event is run by Georgina Synnock-Morgan, Rae Morgan and the Chamber of Trade, to raise funds for St Michael's Hospice.
The tractor run will start from Kington Cattle Market at about 4.30pm and head through High Street, Church Street and onto the by-pass at Floodgates. The procession will then visit several villages including Walton at about 4.50pm, Evenjobb at 5pm, Presteigne at 5.30pm, Titley at 5.50pm and it will head back to Kington reaching KBS roundabout at 6:10.
It will then go up the bypass and come through the High Street at 6:20 and ending at the Cattle Market where M & S Pizzas and the Red Lion outdoor bar will be.Organisers said: “We are hoping this event will bring in lots of people into and with there being time in town for people to walk around, several shops are thinking of ''Late Night Opening''.”
