TV presenter Kirsty Young will be back on-screen for the upcoming coronation of King Charles III.
BBC have confirmed the former Desert Island Discs host, 54, will be leading the coverage alongside Huw Edwards and Zoe Ball.
Elsewhere Clara Amfo and Jordan Banjo will be celebrating backstage with the artists who will perform in front of 20,000 members of the public, including guests from various affiliated charities.King Charles is set to be crowned later this year Speaking about the upcoming gig, Kirsty said: ‘I’m very happy indeed to be part of the BBC’s Coronation coverage, as our cameras capture history in the making. Ceremony, spectacle and a right royal celebration – it’s got all the ingredients of a weekend worth watching.’– added: ‘Few broadcasters have the privilege of working on a Coronation and I’m delighted to be involved. People will be relying on the BBC for coverage of what promises to be a memorable weekend.
