Serious claims coming from the Columbus city attorney's office. Zach Klein is alleging drug companies and pharmacy middlemen have ripped off taxpayers to the tune of $26 million dollars.
Klein's office IS investigating a series PBM's and drug companies for allegedly inflating the price of insulin. According to Klein, the city of Columbus spent almost $26 million on diabetes medications and supplies as part of the healthcare plans for the city’s 9,000 employees. "I want another 47 years," Turner told ABC 6. "I want to hold my grandchildren. I want to be active in the community. If I don't receive this medication that has shown to help me, then my days could be numbered."
