Andy Robertson, Diogo Jota, and Thiago Alcantara were reportedly all spotted in Liverpool team training on Thursday
Liverpool have been handed a potential injury boost ahead of their final game of the season as three players were spotted back in training on Thursday.
“I saw him this morning and he told me he’s ready to train from tomorrow on,” said the Reds boss on Monday night. “That’s the situation.” Having missed the 2022 World Cup in Qatar because of injury, his return to training would be a welcome boost for both club and player, with Jota even more determined to represent Portugal in this summer’s European Championships in Germany as a result.
However, a number of further setbacks would ensure he remained absent until the Reds’ trip to Arsenal back in February 2024. Introduced as a late substitute, a further muscle injury has kept him out of action ever since, with it feared he might have played his last game for the club as a result.
