Justin Kluivert will be back for Bournemouth against Everton, while Andoni Iraola's side faces numerous injury concerns.
Bournemouth will again be able to count on star man Justin Kluivert when Everton head to the south coast. The 25-year-old has six goals to his name in the Premier League this season, including the hat-trick of penalties he scored against Wolverhampton Wanderers. He also has two assists - one of which was the 96th minute cross for Luis Sinisterra’s winner in their side’s dramatic comeback win at Goodison Park .
Kluivert, who had featured in every league game before Bournemouth’s draw at Fulham, missed out on the trip to Craven Cottage as he served a ban for collecting five yellow cards. But he will return to availability at the weekend as Everton head to the Vitality Stadium - a nightmare venue for the Blues over recent years. Last season Everton fell to a stoppage time defeat there after Beto’s late equaliser was ruined by an even later mix-up at the back that saw the ball deflect past Jordan Pickford off Seamus Coleman. Everton suffered two heavy defeats there in a week under Frank Lampard as they crashed out of the Carabao Cup days before losing in the league. The back-to-back struggles at Bournemouth were a turning point in Lampard’s Everton reign. Kluivert will be back but Andoni Iraola is expected to be without a host of players as he continues to deal with injury issues within his squad. Marcus Tavernier, Julian Araujo and Sinisterra (all hamstring), Alex Scott (knee), Marcos Senesi (thigh), Adam Smith (muscle) are expected to remain sidelined, though midfielder Tyler Adams could return from a knock that ruled him out at Fulham. Senesi, Araujo and Tavernier all started at Goodison in August while Scott, Sinisterra and Smith were among the second half substitutions by Iraola that helped Bournemouth secure their comeback win
