Muggers using dating apps to lure people into meeting up then robbing them blind
KNIFE-WIELDING muggers are using dating apps to lure targets into meeting up before violently robbing them.
"My advice is to take three simple steps – know who you're meeting as much as possible, let somebody know who and where you are meeting, and meet somewhere in daylight that is very public." Brown, from Southwark in South London, pulled a meat cleaver from his jacket pocket and threatened the victim ordering him to "give me everything you've got".
Meanwhile Greater Manchester Police arrested man in connection with three attempted carjacking incidents after meeting victims on Grindr.
