The Australian pop star asked for the knitted topper to be auctioned off to a breast cancer charity.

The topper was originally given to the Australian pop star at the Radio 2 in the Park event in Leicester.Minogue, who was treated for breast cancer in 2005, asked for the topper to be auctioned off for the Future Dreams breast cancer charity."We are just so humbled and grateful to have it here and everything that SKB [the Syston Knitting Banxy] has done for us.
The topper has been purchased by an unnamed buyer and the money raised will help Future Dreams continue to offer services, such as its monthly yarn therapy group. Susan Currie, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in April last year, attends the group and said the charity had helped her to meet people in a similar situation.
"We talk about everything here, so we kind of get into the nitty gritty of the treatment and we compare notes and also [it's] just a bit of camaraderie and a bit of fun," she said.
