A manual signalling system has been put in place and limited services are beginning to leave Heuston.
SOME IRISH RAIL services into and out of Heuston Station have resumed following a major signal fault this morning.
InterCity services, Portlaoise and Hazelhatch Grand Canal Dock Commuter services have resumed, subject to delays. Irish Rail spokesperson Jane Cregan told RTÉ’s Morning Ireland that thousands of people were impacted this morning and warned of “knock-on delays” as very few services departed from their origin stations this morning.
