Konami has announced a new event where they will reveal new details for Silent Hill 2 Remake as well as the upcoming movie.
As we head into the season of announcements, with Summer Games Fest set to kick off on June 7th alongside various other publisher events, Konami has announced that it is set to hold its next event later this week. This new event will focus on Silent Hill 2 Remake, which will bring the 2001 classic survival horror game into the modern age, similar to what Capcom has been doing in recent times with its iconic Resident Evil titles.
Image via X Silent Hill 2 Remake was first announced in October 2022 and since then there has only been a handful of updates given, but it is expected to be released in late 2024. The game is being developed by Bloober Team, who are best known for the Layers of Fear series, and The Medium, which showcased the power of the next-gen systems by rendering two worlds simultaneously to allow for instant teleportation between them.
