Yoo Ah-in has been investigated by the police since the first week of February after he was suspected of abusing propofol, which “is used to help you relax or sleep before and during surgery or other medical procedures,” according to the Mayo Clinic website. Yoo Ah-in immediately returned to South Korea from the US on Feb. 5. At Incheon International Airport, Yoo Ah-in underwent a urine test and hair collection. He was summoned by the police on Feb. 6 for alleged violation of the Narcotics Control Act.
According to the MBC News report, the police will investigate Yoo Ah-in as a suspect by securing his cell phone and conducting digital analysis.
