MANILA, Philippines — A Korean traveler was arrested at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport for trying to sneak in $167,300 worth of undeclared cash, theThe Korean, who was not identified, arrived at the NAIA Terminal 1 from the Incheon International Airport last March 17.Members of the BOC Enforcement and Security Service and the Intelligence and Investigation Service found the currency concealed in a book.
The Korean is now under the custody of the Customs Police at NAIA for investigation and possible filing of a criminal case.
