Kourtney Kardashian reveals why sisters Kim, Kylie and Kendall SNUBBED her website launch
Kourtney Kardashian has revealed her famous sisters didn't support her at the launch of her new lifestyle website Poosh. The 40 year old threw a party to celebrate the launch of the new site, but she was forced to go it alone at the bash.
But her sisters had good reason for snubbing the event, with Kylie Jenner recently being admitted to hospital with "flu-like symptoms." Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner , on the other hand, were busy storming the red carpet of the Emmy awards , later being laughed off stage when discussing how their real lives provides "compelling television." However, the eldest Kardashian sister didn't let her sisters' no show dampen her spirits, telling People : "I think doing such a successful event [with just my mum] made me stronger. "It made me think, you know, that I could do it on my own. "What feels authentic to me for a launch feels different to Kim, different to Kylie. So it's nice to just have our own approaches.Kourtney went on to reveal that the sisters have a tight bond and support each other despite their schedule clashes. She gushed: "It's just kind of unconditional support that you can't find everywhere. I think we all respect what the others have done and we are always here for each other." She candidly wrote: "Earlier this year is when it got extremely bad—it covered my whole face and a majority of my entire body. "Today I’m sharing with Poosh my journey with the autoimmune conditions psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, including what’s worked for me and how I’ve adjusted my life since being diagnosed. "It’s been 13 years since I experienced my first psoriasis flare-up.... I am the only child my mom passed down her autoimmune issue to. Lucky me, lol. "When I was 25, I had my first psoriasis flare-up. I got a common cold, and since psoriasis is an autoimmune condition, this triggered it." Opening up on her first flare-up, the mum of four continued: "It was all over my stomach and legs. Luckily, in my apartment complex at the time, my neighbor was a dermatologist. Read More The Kardashians "I showed it to him, and he said to come into the office and he would give me a shot of cortisone and then hopefully it would go away . I did this and my psoriasis completely went away for about five years. "At the time, I wasn’t sure it was psoriasis. I was living in New York— I will never forget it, since it was our DASH store opening in November. "I was wearing this glitzy sequin dress from our store to the opening and I came home afterward and was itching. "It seemed like it came out of nowhere, but I thought that my skin was just sensitive toward the dress’s material. "And then I came home to LA for Mason’s first birthday party and my mom looked at my leg and said it was definitely psoriasis. This is when my real psoriasis journey began. "Earlier this year is when it got extremely bad — it covered my whole face and a majority of my entire body."
