Baffled Kris Boyd admits he was left stunned that Celtic did not have an option to buy Adam Idah when he signed on loan in January.
Attention over a potential return has intensified with Kyogo Furuhashi being substituted at Easter Road - with boss Rodgers insisting the move was a precaution after going down with a recurring shoulder injury. Any time out for the Japan international could be a hammerblow to the Hoops' - with Kyogo currently the only recognised first-team striker at the club.
"It's up to the clubs to thrash it out. From what we can all gather the player would like to come. I think Norwich are trying to get the best they possibly can, but these are more or less always resolved sooner rather than later for Celtic because obviously Kyogo is an issue. He has come off as a precaution but I would still be worried that it is the same shoulder he is having a recurring issue with.
"It has been the same with Bernardo and Carter-Vickers. When we go back to January there was question marks over Idah, but they have given him a platform, he has taken it and now all of a sudden Celtic are having to pay more than what they wanted because they have given him the platform to perform. I am very surprised, it's not like Celtic in the way they have structured that deal.
