The Ibrox hero sparked a mystery after skipping his punditry duties during the Rugby Park party.
He has been the mainstay of Sky Sports coverage of Scottish football this season – but Rangers hero Kris Boyd was noticeably posted missing as Celtic's players partied after becoming Premiership champions.
The former Ibrox and Kilmarnock striker was on punditry duties as Brendan Rodgers' side ran riot at Rugby Park - with the 5-0 win enough to put the title out of reach of Philippe Clement's side and secure the Hoops third title in a row. Callum McGregor and the Parkhead players were joined by the Sky panel on the pitch as they partied with the fans in Ayrshire to give instant reaction to Celtic's triumph.
Neil Lennon and James McFadden were on the pitch with host Eilidh Barbour leading the conversation – but having been involved in the pre-match and half-time discussion in the gantry on Sky, the absence of Boyd was noted by many punters. Boyd would later appear on the pitch to discuss the game once the stands had cleared.
Fan footage has now showed Boyd remained in the studio with his back to the proceedings taking place at his old stomping ground. He appeared to be scrolling through his phone rather than taking in Celtic's 54th title victory. Celtic fans on X were quick to stick the boot in to the former Rangers hero, with one asking: "How can you see looking through those tears?" Another joked - echoing the anthem that rang out on the Celtic Way following the return of Rodgers' men: "Don't worry, be happy."
