“May haka-haka dito sa Senado na ako raw ‘yung papalit na Senate President. Hindi po totoo ‘yan at wala po akong balak,” ayon kay Estrada. Aminado naman si Estrada na nadinig niya ang ugong ng kudeta ilang linggo na ang nakalilipas pero hindi umano ito nanggaling sa kaniya.
