Kyle Clifford, who murdered the wife and two daughters of BBC commentator John Hunt last July, is on trial accused of raping his ex-girlfriend during the attack. Follow live updates from court.
The court hears that after killing Carol Hunt, Kyle Clifford left the family home, and CCTV footage shows him returning to his car. The footage played in court shows him then coming back to the house carrying a crossbow underneath a blanket, letting himself back in with a set of keys.For the next hour, Louise Hunt was still working in her garden dog grooming pod, before she is seen coming in through the back patio door.
A male voice shouting and banging could also be heard over the next 15 minutes, the court hears.Prosecutor Alison Morgan KC said Louise had been 'quickly in fear of what she saw' or 'quickly restrained' - she was later found with her ankles taped and hands tied behind her back.It is also alleged she was gagged with a piece of tape over her mouth because no screams or shouts were heard.
