Kyle Lafferty says he relapsed six months ago after being off gambling for over three years.

The former Northern Ireland striker revealed his last bet was six months ago, after being "off it" for over three years.

He told the BBC: "I think I started when I was 12 and my last bet was six months ago. I was off it for three and a half years. Addiction is addiction. Speaking about his addiction back in 2017, Lafferty said in an interview: "About halfway through my contract with Rangers I didn't have anything better to do after training than go to the bookies or sit online.
