EXCLUSIVE: Kym Marsh, who has reportedly split from her husband Scott, shared the 'grim' realities of being an army wife with OK! last year as she detailed the Army Major having to go away two days after their wedding
It was reported this week that Kym Marsh has called time on her marriage to Army Major Scott Ratcliff just 18 months after tying the knot, allegedly a result of their busy careers.
When asked about married life, Kym told us : "It’s been really good. Well, I say that, but we got married and then two days later Scott was sent away for two weeks and we weren’t expecting that!"View gallery "That was a bit grim, but it’s just part of being an army wife. It felt like on the honeymoon I could properly celebrate being Mrs Ratcliff!"
Not seeing each other as often as many married couples, Scott is largely based in barracks down south while Kym resides in Cheshire – allegedly making things “impossible” for them. A source alleges that the pair had a trial separation earlier this year in the hopes of fixing their marriage, but it didn’t work.
