Kym Marsh may have recently faced backlash over her new romance with 29-year-old co-star Samuel Thomas - but it's clear that she's the one winning after her new hunk showed off his amazing fitness transformation.
Unfortunately, the soap star faced some negatives comments over the new couple's age gap, with Kym telling naysayers to "do one" before turning off comments on the post. Meanwhile, Samuel seemingly hit out at critics as well on his Instagram story, writing: "Opinions are like a*******s...everyone's got one, but they're still a*******s."
"Always bare in mind who and what you’re doing things for. I don’t train to fit an image. I don’t train to conform to what people think a ‘good, healthy’ body should look like. I train because it’s a positive and healthy outlet for energy. I enjoy seeing how much I can challenge my body to grow and I’m always looking for new ways to improve myself physically and more importantly, mentally.
In an older post, Samuel opened up about "lean gaining" and revealed that he had taken on "about 1kg of true muscle" as a result of his efforts. "Increasing strength by increasing the challenge of each work out, progressively overloading and stopping my body from getting too comfortable with a particular exercise or weight load," he said.
