Hearts have accepted a bid for forward Kyosuke Tagawa, head coach Steven Naismith reveals.
Tagawa joined the Scottish Premiership club last year from FC Tokyo and has scored three goals in 21 appearances for Naismith's side.
"We got a bid that we felt was acceptable," Naismith said. "After speaking to him, it became clear that it's probably going to be the best move for everybody."We've got strikers that have performed really well last season, which limited his time and it's just a natural thing that happens in football."Naismith admits Tagawa's impending departure "frees up money for sure and also the transfer fee" but added: "I'm not instantly looking.
"There's not something that we've got sitting waiting to go, 'right, we're going to move on this'. That's not going to happen. We're well covered in that position." Hearts have also been working on a deal for Atletico Nacional's Colombia-capped left-back Andre Salazar, 21."Everybody's on the same page of what we want," explained Naismith, whose side visit Dundee on Saturday evening.
"We now just need to do the paperwork, the issues with visas and work permits. I don't expect anything to happen until next week, confirming that.
