Lawsuits made by two men in the Leaving Neverland doc have been brought back from dismissal.
It comes after lawsuits made by two men in the HBO documentary Leaving Neverland were brought back from dismissal.
This means that they will be able to proceed with claims that a pair of corporations owned by the singer – dubbed the King of Pop – had a legal duty to protect them from alleged sexual abuse by Jackson., the justices found that it would be ‘perverse’ to find that the corporations should be excused from a responsibility to oversee the safety of the plaintiffs because they’re solely owned by Jackson.
Both cases were previously thrown out in 2017 after it was determined that they exceeded the statute of limitations.
