Melbourne Deputy Lord Mayor Nicholas Reece says the changes Labor has made to superannuation are “modest” and “obviously targeted” to those who have generous super balances.
“This change that’s been made, it’s very modest, it’s obviously targeted at those who have very, very generous super balances, three million and plus,” Mr Reece told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“You could have a hundred million dollars in your superannuation account, and guess what? You’ll still get a concession under these arrangements – it just won’t be as generous as the one you get now.”
