So that’s really what this consultation is about. Trying to make sure we actually get the right settings.
“The automotive industry is in fierce agreement that we need such a standard, but the detail that emerges out of the consultation will be critical,” said Australian Automotive Dealers Association chief executive James Voortman. Labor insisted on Wednesday that the strategy would ultimately pave the way for Australians to access more affordable options.
