Industry Minister Ed Husic says Labor is trying to “rebuild and revitalise” manufacturing in Australia at a time when the country has been dependent on concentrated or broken supply chains.
He said the National Reconstruction Fund is a “layer of capital” for firms finding it hard to get investment support.
“We are going to work on delivering that layer of capital and do it in a way that’s different to the way of doing business under the Liberal Party,” he told Sky News Australia.
