Lack of trust in police led to people trampling over Bulley investigation, says ex-officer

A lack of trust in the police led to members of the public to start “trampling” over the scene of Nicola Bulley’s disappearance, a former detective chief inspector has said

less than a mile from where the 45-year-old mother of two vanished while walking her dog. No formal identification has yet taken place.
