The village’s Lodge Union 244 last week handed over cheques totalling £4000 to eight groups as a result of the brethren’s annual sponsored walk.
A whole host of charities and youth groups have benefited from the generosity of Freemasons in Stonehouse .
More than 50 walkers completed the challenge from Strathclyde Park to Stonehouse which meant a variety of local groups benefited. The free download features the latest breaking news and exclusive stories, and allows you to customise your page to the sections that matter most to you.Friends of Stonehouse Park, the Trust Jack Foundation, St Ninian’s Foodbank, and Lanarkshire Cancer Care Drivers all received £500 each while the Stonehouse Scout Group and the Alma Group each received £250.
