Earlier this week, Lanarkshire Community Policing and Divisional Alcohol Violence Reduction Unit officers worked alongside the National Motorcycle Unit and DVLA Enforcement as part of Operation Kingfisher.

Police in Lanarkshire have clamped down on uninsured drivers and vehicles who are not up to road standard.

This was an opportunity to influence driver behaviour in and around the Shotts and Salsburgh areas.
