When your bins will be collected on the day of the Queens funeral
The Queen's state funeral will take place on Monday 19 September - at the end of the 10-day period of mourning. King Charles has declared that the day will be a bank holiday.
Blackpool Council: Collections appear to be going ahead as normal, but will start from the earlier time of 6.00am. Fylde Borough Council: Refuse and recycling collection services will be suspended on Monday 19th September in respect of the funeral of Her Late Majesty. Bins will be collected the day after their usual bin day. Normal collections will resume from Monday 26 September.
Pendle Borough Council: Bin collections stay the same on all bank holidays, with the exception of Christmas and New Year. Rossendale Borough Council: Appears to be going ahead as normal, so if Monday is your usual bin day, make sure yours is out no later than 6.45am.
