The Ring O'Bells pub has bagged itself two prizes despite only reopening nine months ago
A Lancashire pub has scooped a double win for 'Country pub of the year' serving the best Sunday roast.
It has quickly become a family-friendly pub and eatery that is hugely popular with locals. LUXlife is a lifestyle magazine that specialises in luxury content and experiences.This year, it honoured Ring O'Bells with two titles - Country Pub of the Year 2024 and Best for Sunday Lunch 2024. The winners are chosen by the LUXlife judging panel and research teams who consider customer service, guest experience and innovation shown by nominees.
Paul Harrison, the general manager of Ring O'Bells, expressed his delight to the ECHO saying: "We're thrilled to receive such prestigious awards so early in the company's life. We wanted to create something special that everyone in the community can enjoy and I believe we've done so in spadefulls. The pub dates back to the 19th century but remained vacant after closing in 2016. Many of the venue's original features have been reclaimed such as the floors, wooden furnishings, open fireplaces and furniture.
